Method of Preserving Wealth

The Method of Preserving Wealth was written by Nie Yuntai, the grandson of Zeng Guofan. In his lifetime, Nie Yuntai witnessed the rise and fall of many illustrious families. Although these illustrious families were deeply rooted, they gradually declined and their descendants declined. Wealth belongs to society and cannot be monopolized for one's own enjoyment. If one is wealthy and knows how to give back to society, one's good fortune will be deeper. Therefore, "e;maintaining wealth"e; is actually advising people to understand how to distribute wealth and cultivate virtue and kindness, which is the best way to maintain happiness and wealth.
