Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. It was with considerable trepidation that I undertook to edit Judge Reagan's manuscript. This was in part due to my great respect for his ability and character, but above all to my fear that the inherent difficulties of the task would prove in a degree insuperable.
