Megan The Snow Maiden: A Christmas Story

Megan the Snow Maiden, the third book in the series Tales of My Childhood, is a traditional Russian winter holiday folktale adapted for English-reading children. Snow Maiden (or Snegurochka in Russian) is by far the most popular folktale among Russian children and tells the story of an old childless couple who made a snow doll which came to life.
