Medieval Military Monuments in Lincolnshire

This volume contains an analytical catalogue of all 62 surviving medieval military effigies in Lincolnshire. The descriptions record their current locations and positions, details of arms, armour, heraldry, and inscriptions, notes on dating and identification, and commentary on earlier antiquarian work on the monuments. Each description is accompanied by photographs of the effigy. An initial overview summarises the development of military monuments in the county.
