The author of this book, Dee Livers, was raised by her grandfather and grandmother on a small farm near Salisbury, Missouri. She had a wonderful childhood and she learned so much from her grandfather. She helped him take care of their garden and protect all of their baby animals. However, the most important lesson she learned from her Pappy was how to be a good person.Unfortunately, Pappy passed away many years ago.
