Each book blends history with adventure and a little bit of magic. They tell of 2 young brothers (Max and Archie) who have an understanding of history and great hunger for learning new things and solving problems, the magical adventures introduce them to all kinds of people who need their help, Through each story the readers learn real facts about history from all over the world within a Magical adventure and show different ways in which the reader can learn about history themselves. Max and Archie are 2 young brothers with a magical portal which transports them on adventures all over the world, they travel to different periods in time where they have to help in some of the biggest historical events including an attempt to blow up the London Houses of Parliament.
