The book has ten chapters. First chapter deals with Introduction to Materials Management, Chapter two is devoted for Methods of Purchasing, third chapter is on Supplier Selection, fourth chapter deals with Quality Considerations and Value Analysis, Purchasing Systems is discussed under chapter five, chapter six is on Materials handling and Maintenance, chapter seven is devoted for Inventory Management, chapter eight is for Inventory types and classifications, Order Quantity is discussed in chapter nine, tenth chapter is devoted for Transportation; and the last chapter deals with materials management in cooperatives.
