Mastering the Lost Art of Oratory

Developed by career educator Robert Babcock, The Young Speakers Academy's curriculum is a unique program for promising students of all ages to develop and perfect public speaking skills. It is a program conceived and designed by lifelong educators and proven successful in the areas of career development, occupational studies, liberal arts, and the performing arts. Additionally, the program has been successful in a variety of venues-urban, rural, suburban, and in both private and home schools. Our curriculum not only meets the national core curriculum standards, but also the New York State Learning Standards. It produces successful students in a wide range of ability levels, from high achievers to integrated grade level classes. Individualized instruction promotes low stress and ongoing evaluation of progress. Good citizenship, confidence, and enhanced self-esteem are integrated with public speaking at its finest.
