Marriage Battle Plan: Prayer: Crumbs from the Master's Table

This is a prayer book for those who are persistently fighting for their marriages. -Like the Canaanite mother, we go to the Source for help. We go to Jesus to heal our marriages because He told us to come.-The child in this story was possessed with demons. Similarly, many marriages (spouse) are rebellious to God, for they are influenced by demons.-Nevertheless, we come to You, Father God.-In verse 23, the disciples rejected this mother, like the mean judge did to the widow. Then Jesus tested her in verse 24 by saying He was not sent to her.-However, this desperate mother knelt and cried out for help. "LORD, help me "-Father, we bow to You. We surrender our lives and come boldly to Your throne for help. Help us, Abba.-Jesus in verse 26 said, "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to the dogs." -Father God, some of us have felt like dogs as we waited for our breakthrough and justice in our marriages.-Nevertheless, we humble ourselves like this mother and say, "Even the dogs eat the crumbs from their master's table." -Even in the insult, this Canaanite (heathen) called Jesus Christ MASTER. Hallelujah -Father, we call You and Your Son Master as well and we are humble enough to accept the crumb of blessings.-In witnessing this mother's response, Jesus, was impressed by her faith And we know when the fragrance of diligent faith reaches the heart of Jesus, reward is our portion (Hebrews 11:6).-Jesus said, "Woman, you have great faith Your request is granted." As a result, her daughter was immediately healed
