As earthquakes shake Istanbul and multiple hollow places manifest simultaneously, Samir realizes his father had discovered the map's true purpose: not to exploit these supernatural phenomena but to heal them. Inside the Chamber, Samir encounters his father's spirit and learns that sealing the breach requires a willing guardian to maintain the threshold between worlds. Making the ultimate sacrifice, Samir drinks from the fountain of dark liquid and transforms into neither living nor dead, but the eternal guardian of reality's boundaries. He entrusts the map to Elif, instructing her to continue their research and help him heal future tears that form. As Samir embraces his new existence at the threshold, watching over Istanbul from within the Chamber of Whispers, he finds unexpected purpose as a conservator not just of maps but of reality itself-healing the wounds between worlds and maintaining the delicate balance between life and death.
