Manufacturing Systems Theory

A textbook designed for use on graduate courses on mathematical modelling of manufacturing systems. In the search for a foundation of the theory the author was intrigued by the role played by geometry in the development of physics in this century. Heading at a multi-disciplinary theory, the author had to search for a new level of abstraction. Geometry represents such an abstraction. Software is included with this book.
