Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The First Part, which treats of the Sodality, its Statutes and Rules, is taken from authentic sources. The Rules of the Prima Primaria as here contained, are framed according to the Apostolic Constitutions of the Popes, and have been at various times approved by the Father General of the Society of Jesus, who is also Director General of the Sodality.
