Magnetic Influence on Life

The subject of how magnetism affects living things is not as well understood as how other factors affect them. I hope my book "e;The Magnetic Influence on Life"e; will help redress this.The book is essentially a very-extended follow-up to my final-year dissertation at university. It is aimed at the educated layperson, and contains twenty-five chapters. The first four are introductory chapters, and the last three concluding ones. The eighteen in between are category chapters, each one of these about magnetic influences on a specific group of organisms - bacteria and reptiles are two examples.In the category chapters, the various results of scientific investigation into magnetic influences on organisms are evaluated. The original results had been presented in over a thousand papers from scientific journals, these published between the years 1975 and 2015. The papers' references are included at the end of each appropriate category chapter, and referred to frequently in the main text of the chapters' discussions.All the information on magnetic influences discussed in the book is from the findings presented in the scientific journals. I myself make no claim of any original research: I am simply evaluating the research of others, who are duly acknowledged throughout.I believe the gist of what I have said in this section could be included on the book's back cover.
