Maddy's Place

This book came to me in a dream. For weeks, I thoughtabout the main character, Maddy, until a story developedaround her. The character grew from my precious dog Sugar. Her owner was dying from terminal brain cancer. She wasdesperate to reunite with her estranged daughter withoutsuccess. In desperation, she prayed for someone to take careof Maddy. The gardener at the Mercy Center fell in love withthe dog. Caroline was convinced that God brought John toher in answer to that prayer. He bought Maddy and traveledto upper Michigan to retrieve her house. To his surprise, hislife changed in a way he could never have expected.
