We all know that aggression is an instinct in animals and humans, at least for self-defense. Human psychology says that aggressive instincts constitute a primitive and essential element. It is sufficient to look at our surroundings to see feelings of selfishness, bad moods, stinginess, envy, jealousy, etc. Psychologists believe that the instinct for survival and the instinct for "love" require a dose of aggression. In other words, the aggressive element is an essential part of these two instincts when they exist in reality. Unfortunately, we do not want to acknowledge the existence of these aggressive feelings in ourselves and in others, so we work in one way or another to downplay them, or even deny them. However, it must be noted that feelings of fear, love, hatred, and hostility remain locked away in the subconscious throughout our lives, and our conscious awareness only recognizes a small portion of them. Therefore, psychoanalysis came to study the motives of human behavior, which until now remained difficult to explain, because they were unconscious, meaning we did not know that they existed within us.
