LONELY ROAD, RESCUE AND HOME is a poetic rendering of the poet-personas gratitude for being a beneficiary of Gods marvellous mercy. Some of the poems trace the pang-filled path of a prodigal son who, at a critical juncture in his life, was guided Home by the extravagant love of his heavenly Father. Some point out the pitfalls that Christians must avoid on the lifelong race to Glory. Others make long plaintive calls to those who have veered off the Straight and Narrow Way, inviting them to return to the fabulous and inexhaustible estate of their Creator.
