Little Poor Man of God

The author describes the life and times of Francis of Assisi and his soul mate Clara of Assisi, whom he considers were the more faithful prototypes of how to truly live the gospel of Christ on this earth. They managed to do this by sparing no personal sacrifices to align their minds, emotions, bodies, and souls to truly imitate Jesus Christ life and example, and it describes how they were able to achieve this enormous feat through their surrender to poverty, chastity and obedience, and by doing it they managed to rebuild a decaying and dying Christian church.
