Light Matter Interactions

This book presents physics of light matter interactions. Particularly the novel phenomena of frequency multiplication and nonlinear scatterings have been discussed in detail. Emphasis is put on the physical mechanisms of various nonlinear optical phenomena while minimizing the mathematics. Applications of these nonlinear phenomena in routine life have also been discussed in detail.
