Life of the Three P's

In this fascinating historical novel, follow the travels of a young girl, Pepper, while learning about the complexity of fragrances and how perfume can identify your personality. Pepper meets Phoebe, a master perfumer, who sparks her desire to learn all about perfume. She receives a box with perfume vials from Phoebe, and when each vial is opened, Pepper is taken back in time to the places where Phoebe learned her art. Meanwhile, WWII sweeps through the world as Pepper grows up in San Francisco. After graduating from high school, Pepper is on her way to attend the Perfumery Academy. She reconnects with Phoebe in Honolulu and receives a list of items to collect at each stop. The first Pan Am 001 around-the-world flight going west, is an adventure in itself. Learning about the various processes, fragrances and perfumes along the way, ending up in London.
