With their background in political science, human services, and social work, Mo ties together concepts to show how the personal is political at every phase in life. They seek to find a balance between the joys and the difficult battles it takes to reach those moments. Mo attempts to illustrate concepts such as liberation, equity, and justice, but also how we can relate them to art, creativity, and our humanity. They touch on small moments between loved ones, to large movements within society to draw the reader into examining how they feel their connection to the world.
