Lateral Psalms

Lateral Psalms is a collection of poetry divided into four sections: Trouble, Buddha, Shiva, and Otherwise. The poems deal largely with the relationship between spiritual practice and emotional healing. Drawing on material from Hatha Yoga, Buddhist meditation, and various spiritual and intellectual traditions, the focus of the book is on attempting to find insight and meaning in process and struggle rather than a preconceived happy ending.
