However, while diverting elements of other places, Anita Mui has established a personal style, which is a representative of Hong Kong's mixed culture.After winning the title of singing diva for a few years, as well as record-breaking sales and concerts, Anita Mui has been inscribed with Hong Kong culture.As to movies, apart from being the best actress and the most paid actress in Hong Kong, she was also a rare Hong Kong actress who could handle different film types while being recognized:Her literary film "e;Rouge"e;, comedy "e;Justice, My Foot!"e; and action movie "e;The Heroic Trio"e; were all very successful.It was attributed to her changeable images on the stage, and also had a lot to do with the outward cultural traits of Hong Kong at that time.The book is not only designed to let people know more about Anita Mui, but also to understand the uniqueness of Hong Kong's culture from her.The book aims to make an in-depth review and appreciation of Anita Mui, trying to explain things in a simple and easy way and discuss her from multiple perspectives.- Exclusive in-depth interview:We interviewed the music producers, directors and actors who worked with Anita Mui, including Michael Lai, Anthony Lun, Stanley Kwan Kam-Pang, Ann Hui, Xu Guanwen, Andy Hui, Carol Cheng, etc. They talked about Anita Mui's singing techniques, stage features, role interpretation, and professionalism; and also told their cooperation with Anita Mui, which helped clarified the untruthful rumors about her.- Scholars and commentators in different fields were invited to write the book:Different authors discussed Anita Mui from different perspectives, including different topics such as gender, popular culture, celebrity studies, politics in 1997, identity and the development of Hong Kong movies.- The book also includes some articles written by people from different sectors to mourn Anita Mui in the year of her death.
