Land Fund Legislation and Economic Performance

This paper examines the Romanian legislative framework on land fund management and its economic impact on the agricultural sector. It explores how current land legislation influences agricultural productivity, hypothesizing that legislative improvements could enhance efficiency. The main objectives include identifying relevant legal acts, analyzing agricultural challenges, and proposing amendments to support sustainable farming. Methodologically, the study combines a qualitative assessment of legal provisions with key statistical data analysis. The findings underscore the need for legislative reforms to reduce land fragmentation, enhance farmer cooperation, and better align legal frameworks with economic realities. These results are particularly relevant given concerns over food security and sustainable agriculture in Romania.
