The Taj Mahal is renowned not just for its soaring symmetry and the breathtaking precision of its construction, but also for the floral forms carved in marble that adorn it. A photograph of one of these iconic flowers is reproduced for our Lahori journal, named for Ustad Ahmad Lahori, who is said to have been the grand mausoleum’s chief architect.
