Laboratory Manual for Engineering and Physical Chemistry, aimed to provide an overview of the practical knowledge in Engineering and Physical chemistry experiments along with the fundamental chemical principles needed to understand this science. The book primarily deals with the experimental chemistry aspects of engineering, postgraduate and B.Sc(Hons) streams. It has been written to cater the needs of students in understanding the theory existing behind the practical procedures.Further the presentation provides the necessary course material in a cogent manner and the student finds relevant material in the compact collection. This book enriches the practical knowledge to the beginner's at the industry, helps to improve their skills. This book is broadly divided into two sections. The first section is especially meant for chemistry practicals of engineering students of various universities across India and the second part is meant for students of B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc., of various universities to acquire knowledge of physical chemistry practicals. In the beginning of sectionI, the importance of chemical analysis (both qualitative and quantitative analysis) has been presented in lucid manner and twenty experiments have been dealt where as Section II deals with ten experiments. The significant feature of the book is that, at the beginning of each practical procedure the necessary fundamental theory is also incorporated for the benefit of students.
