Kirsti of Old Rauma is a poetic tale of an idyll; of how it is shattered and then put back together. Annastiina Mäkitalo (b. 1982) has created the book as her diploma work at the Aalto University School of Art and Design in cooperation with the Rauma Museum. The story is fictitious, but the events and artefacts have been inspired by real life.
