Kingdom Culture and Custom

One day while in meditation, I could sense the concern of God by his Spirit as it relates to His kingdom citizens. One major concern of his is that the church, which is built upon the solid rock of the very identity of Jesus Christ his dear Son, has lost its identity. As Jesus taught in his three and a half years of earthly ministry, he spoke of the Kingdom of God. He described to us in parables and clear speech just what the Kingdom is like. In doing so, he put forth the edicts of the King and established in the ears of the hearers, Kingdom Culture and Custom. By way of the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we have been made kings and priests in God's Kingdom. However, before we can function as kings, we must learn to function as priests. And before we can function as priests, we must learn our rights and privileges as accepted, beloved, redeemed, adopted, born again sons of the living King, and as love abiding citizens in his Kingdom. My name is Dwayne Michael Coleman Sr. I was born and raised in Gary Indiana, (or as I like to affectionately call it), "Glory Indiana." As a preacher of almost Thirty years, and a pastor of fifteen years, one of my greatest concerns has become that the people of God understand that we are loved abiding citizens in his Kingdom of God. That being said, I believe it also imperative that we understand the customs and the culture of the Kingdom of Godss well. I don't believe that it is like anything that we have heard preached. But hopefully what I have written here in this book will bring insight on how the kingdom of God operates. But more importantly I hope to bring to bear the heart of the King Himself.
