#KickingCancer: My Battle Told Through Social Media

Less than two weeks after moving from snowy Minnesota to sunny Southern California, Eric was diagnosed with testicular and lymph node cancer. Though initially hoping to keep his battle to himself and fight quietly, he quickly learned how powerful support can be... in places he least expected it. With the use of humor and a positive attitude, Eric openly and honestly tracked his cancer journey through social media, including journal posts and Instagram pictures, and was overwhelmed at the amount of support by family, friends and strangers. This book tells his story through the social media that Eric used during his battle. Eric and his mother's journals and points of view on a day by day basis, along with hundreds of comments of support and well-wishes from those in the social media audience.
