Khadijah's Big Move teaches young children about patience and having the right intentions through Khadijah's heartfelt conversations with her grandmother. It provides a unique Islamic perspective for children during both everyday challenges and tough transitional moments.

The book is aimed at 3-7 old children who find it challenging to adjust to new situations. It's main protagonist is a Pakistani Muslim girl who moves from Seattle to London. She experiences different emotions before feeling settled in the new land.
