Keys to Characterization will give students an overview of script analysis and acting techniques to get on stage and shine bright. Teachers have a clear set of instructions that create engaging and flexible lessons that make sense to administrators, teachers, parents, and most importantly to the students who are practicing skills toward great performances. Students will power up their performance as they study .....Internal and external conditions of the character, Gestures, mannerisms and stretching a character, Goals, obstacles, and motivations of a character, andObservation, focus, listening, and energizing a scene.Unit Focus: Students grow in their ability to effectively portray a character during performances.
