Keeping It Real: Part 1 (Part 1 of 2) is an unfiltered, authentic glimpse into three years in the life of Rae Silva (she/they). It's a journal-turned-self-published book, and to Rae, it's a piece of their heart that they're choosing to share with the world. This book includes their original poems, quotes, and journal entries, as well as art by Kelsey "e;Kelso"e; Garner, some of Rae's favorite quotes, their friends' and family's notes and quotes, and more. This novel is an intricate, raw look into the life of a young genderqueer person grappling with issues like mental illness, gender and sexuality, the concept of femininity, and their childhood, romances, and relationships.
