Jesus Is There

Where was Jesus and what was he doing during the many centuries of Old Testament history? If Jesus had personal contact with people only after being born in Bethlehem, where was he for the hundreds of years while the Jewish people lived their lives, suffered and struggled, and were in need of direction and support? If he really cares for people, is it rational to believe that during that time he was not engaged at all in human history?Using a fresh and little explored empirically-based approach and resources including the Septuagint, three keys are found which in the New Testament reliably distinguish the person and work of Christ from that of God the Father. Guidelines for the use of the keys are established, and these guidelines are then applied to 25 selected passages in the Old Testament where the divine is definitely at work. When this is done, the results clearly show that Jesus Is There, at work in the Old Testament and doing far more with people than most of us ever thought.
