Raj had been focused on asserting his independence after hard work in school. Everything went into his education to be the best physician he could be. His uncle Vijay convinced him to take a short vacation before opening his new clinic. 'Meet some of your relatives in India and find me the finest silk the world has to offer, ' he had said. A chance meeting escalated into something Raj could never have predicted. He found himself at a flash point of the Indian Independence Movement- in 1857.
