Island Refuge

Young women and children of 1780s England are disappearing, and a woman of the Gentry thinks she knows who is responsible. While investigating, she becomes a victim of human trafficking herself. Trapped on a ship heading for the Far East, Beth must learn to endure what the men do to her; survive her subsequent escape; and begin the healing process she receives with the help of ranch owner, Simon, his daughter, and their ranch hands. Will love be enough to heal her both physically and mentally and let life begin again? Her captors arent finished with her yet, though. Can Simon and the rest of the island inhabitants reach her before the traffickers exact their revenge?
