Is Mohamed Choukri's "e;For Bread Alone"e; a Picaresque Narrative?

My purpose here, in other words, will be to show to what extent Choukri's narrative can be related to the picaresque genre. This will be achieved notably through the endeavor of defining and identifying some of the ways that "e;For Bread Alone"e; manifests itself as a picaresque narrative.
