Walter always believed that people are stronger when they stick together, but even he is wary of the remarkably resilient man he has chosen to save. The mysterious stranger has no recollection of his past. As he recovers from his injuries, the man questions himself, his own intentions, his very purpose. Walter's young daughter, Lilly, has a connection with this newcomer, but not every resident of Hope is so accepting. In this dangerous new world, survivors know that trust must be earned.
