Iron Age Mirrors

Recognising that objects are not passive, but interact with society, acquiring their own histories and identites, Jody Joy takes a biographical approach to the study of Britains Iron Age mirrors, attempting to reconstruct aspects of their histories and relationships. He examines production, form and decoration, as well as evidence for use and wear, and places this alongside regional contexts for distribution and deposition, and how these changed over time.
