Invoking God

The main theme of this literary work examines avarice, insatiable greedand abysmal voracity of those individuals who, under the guise of servingGod, serve their own vested interest. This documented book exposessuch people who achieve almost everything to fi ll their coff ers and to vent theirhatred through deceit, and the obfuscation of the public. It is a known fact that the majority of the televangelists commenced lifemodestly, most of them devoid of any academic erudition in theology, but withsome certifi cation from unrecognized seminaries spread throughout the countrywherever they reside. What captivated my interest in writing this book, is the unscrupulousmethods that such people have employed to accumulate unjustifi ed immensewealth and properties, just through the art of obfuscation, deceit and falsepromises of invoking God to heal the sick and dying, for a fee; a fee that wouldleave them unhealed and poverty stricken.
