Investigating Science Through Bears

This introduction to one of nature's most endearing animals-the bear-includes instructional units in science and social studies that focus on polar, grizzly, black, and panda bears, among others. Even the teddy bear is included, with songs, poetry, and activities that can be incorporated into the curriculum for special classroom celebrations. The many diverse activities offer new learning dimensions for the creative teacher. Grades 2-5. (adaptable to other grades).
