Introduction to the Study of the Oceanic Languages

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. This brief account of the Oceanic languages is meant as a general introduction to the study of them. It has been written because there is, so far as I know, no general sketch of the family, and books on special groups or lan guages, are expensive and sometimes very difficult to obtain.
