LBFM: David King travels to Hong Kong on business after the revelation that his marriage is over following his wife's decision to leave him for a much younger man. Deep in despair he is surprised to find that he is becoming emotionally attracted to Jessica, a young Filipina bar-girl. As their romantic relationship grows and becomes sexual David is violently assaulted by a business rival leaving him close to death and he loses contact with the woman who has become the most important person in his life. His life is complicated by a bitter divorce from his wife, the daughter of the Chairman of the company and the after-effects of an affair with his mother-in-law, Caroline. Paul and Marisa's relationship deepens and becomes physical as Paul protects her from attempted rape by a fellow director, Hugo, before they are wrongly implicated in the death of his father-in-law and they need to go into hiding. Caroline and Hugo conspire to force Paul out of the company and turn Marisa into their unwilling sexual partner. Can Paul and Marisa overcome the obstacles to them finding happiness together?
