This is the account of the author's journey to lose weight and become one of the "e;beautiful"e; people. It is a somewhat humorous account of his quest which takes him to camps to learn Tai Chi, visits to a Zen Monastery, cooking lessons and more. Along the way he realizes his life of following fad diets has not worked and he begins to develop a 360 degree plan that will help reinvent himself. This plan is spelled out and includes a successful program of sustainable weight loss plus life habits which enhance his overall health and self-image as well. It is not a "e;cookie cutter"e; plan but guidance to look weight loss from a new and healthier perspective.
