Intellectual disability, poverty and educational exclusion

This book discusses the concepts of educational inclusion and exclusion in the light of students with "intellectual disabilities". It is a bibliographical, exploratory and documentary study which aims to clarify what intellectual disability is, its main characteristics, causes and triggers. It also aims to analyse the possibility of including students with intellectual disabilities in mainstream schools, through pedagogical strategies and ethical, aesthetic and didactic attitudes on the part of teachers.
