Inspiring Faith Stories of Our Time

Robert Obol Nyeko, an ordained Catholic priest who spent his early years in Uganda before relocating to the United States, shares his life journey and faith practice in The Inspiring Faith Stories of Our Time. Through the power of prayer, he has guided many couples away from polygamy, leading them to marry in the Catholic Church. His ministry has also brought him face-to-face with extraordinary moments witnessing the casting out of demons and taking part in the recovery of the relics of the blessed martyrs, Daudi Okelo and Jildo Irwa, at Kitgum Mission Parish Church. The book also sheds light on the deep impact of the Lord s Resistance Army rebel forces operating out of South Sudan on everyday life in Uganda. In 1996, a year marked by intense violence, Nyeko faced great challenges in completing his philosophical and religious studies at Alokolum Seminary College. Eventually, his path led him to the United States, where he embarked on pastoral work in health care, serving as a substitute chaplain, hospital chaplain, and mission leader.
