Industrial Manufacturing Processes

Metallurgy is the science that aims to study the entire process of extracting and transforming materials classified as metallic. Since the dawn of time, man has used means and techniques to shape the different materials found in nature, concomitantly with the application of these materials in the industrial sector, with the aim of making the most of their properties. This work shows in a simple and objective way the basic principles of two of the most commonly used industrial mechanical manufacturing processes: Electroerosion and Casting, presenting case studies for the practical and conceptual discussion of the respective techniques.
