The present book on "Indigenous Population and Social Exclusion" is outcome of an ICSSR sponsored National Seminar held at Gandhigram Rural Institute - Deemed University, Gandhigram organized by the Centre for Study of Social Exclusion & Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP), Gandhi gram, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu (India). The research articles incorporated in the book authored by various eminent academicians and scholars give us an insight to understand the issue of social exclusion among the indigenous people in India and also highlight the imperatives needed for their positive inclusive development.
