Improving Safety on Highways By Customizing Vehicular ADHOC Networks

This book deals about a highway street vehicle crash or impact happens when a vehicle slams into another, over speed, street condition etc. The main objective is to develop security applications in VANET and implement the efficient communication between the vehicles by reducing the real time complications. This work proposes Self-sorting protocol for medium access and the Zone Hierarchical Link State protocol (ZHLS) for routing in addition to message authentication. The simulation results shows the proposed methodologies can considerably decrease the packet loss and delay in collision warning system in high collisions situations.
