Immortal father

One French critic said about this novel: "The story of the immortal father, like Balzac''s stories in most of them, contains a number of pearls, in addition to many comic and tearful passages, where we find a bold pioneer and a great literary adventurer, who reveals to us, with bright poetic flashes, what was inspired to him." The event, and observation provided him with it, this satirist knew how to explain to us, better than the authors who are said to be "examples" of human beings, and how a situation can be achieved. An embarrassment that can temporarily instill in the most despicable people "the qualities of the elite." In the light of this genius, worn-out faces appear to us. Either we appreciate them in their virtues and their faults together, or we abandon their appreciation. This is how we must behave toward the characters of Balzac''s novel.
