Imam Al-Busiri

The personality of Muhammad bin Abdullah, the Messenger of humanity and the Seal of the Prophets, was and still is a source of inspiration for many poets and thinkers. Among the first pioneers of the art of praising the Prophet were Hassan bin Thabit, Ka''b bin Zuhair, Al-Farazdaq and Al-Kamit in the early Islamic eras. They were followed by a group of poets who excelled in this art in a way that inflamed longing for the Messenger of Islam and his honorable family. Al-Busiri, in front of the praisers and one of the few Sufi imams whose thought was immortalized, was generous and proficient in praising the most honorable Messenger and presented to the Islamic world his immortal "purdah" and his humour, which began with:How do you live up to the prophets?Oh sky, what a sky is equal toAl-Busiri''s personality in front of those who praise him and his impeccable dress are worthy of praise and study.
