I'll Be A Good Boy Forever

At four years old I find a prayer that I am certain God listens to. Somehow He hears my prayer and grants my requests to help my family. I keep my special prayer a secret, now and forever. My simple and private prayer faces its greatest challenge when my father is stricken with cancer. I assail the dreaded disease day after day with the power of my prayer, but the cancer is unyielding. I try to reinforce the strength of my prayer by taking a journey to the treasured places of my childhood. I return to the beautiful locations where I first felt God's unmistakable presence in my life. In these cherished spots I send my prayer to God and hope for an answer. Somehow I must find a way to help my father in his valiant fight for life. All I can do is pray.
